Projects span from multi-million dollar Greenfield and Brownfield capital investments to complex plant rebuilds and expansions. Ms. Rice has over 23 years of experience in industry, including 9 years at Pearl Engineering, and 12 years as a Senior Staff Project Mechanical Engineer for Nekoosa Papers (Georgia-Pacific Corporation/now Domtar Industries) in Nekoosa and Port Edwards, Wisconsin, including the Project Management of Construction of a new Lime Kiln and Recausticizing Plant and Chlorine Dioxide Generating Plant, and 2 years as a Mechanical Project Engineer for Appleton Papers.
Ms. Rice has recently completed a multi-million dollar Greenfield and Brownfield thirty-month project assignment in the Chloralkali Industry to convert the Plants’ mercury based technology to a membrane based technology. Responsibilities included management of the Engineering EPCa Contract, Safety, Security, Materials receiving and Cost Accounting.
Ms. Rice is a graduate of Michigan Technological University with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering and is a Licensed Professional Engineer in Wisconsin.
